A collection born between my dad and grandad’s wardrobes and vintage shops where I rifled through the countless pieces to find pre-loved clothes and give them a new life.
I combined different techniques to create sustainable, original pieces mainly using an assortment of fabric scraps that, in other circumstances, would have gone to waste.
The aim was to create something completely new getting out of the schemes of industrial production and trying to annihilate the fast fashion world and what it entitles while giving light to project creativity and craftmanship and incrementing the reuse of old clothes to make unique garments.
The same goes to shoes: in the wake and with the help of “twin design studio”, I was able to recover components from old sneakers, take them apart and remodel them, adding samples and leftovers of all kind of different leathers to create completely new models.
